Reprieve

So...

The weather remains crappy on the weekends and my days off here in southeast Pennsylvania.  It's been a little warmer in general, but not nearly enough to be able to spend any meaningful time outdoors naked...until today.  Granted, there is a 30% chance of storms and it may be overcast, but it's supposed to get up to almost 80 degrees today.  Finally!!!  We just had the pool opened and the water is still way too cold, but just sitting on a lounge chair listening to the waterfall and having a warm breeze float across my naked body will be wonderful.  And even if it does rain, there'snothing like being naked in the rain.  It just feels so natural.  I hope all of you are having great weather and enjoying your days like I will be enjoying mine!

Although I'd still rather be here!  Hahaha...

Tease

So it was sunny and in the mid 50's in the area this past weekend.  Finally had some time off to get some yard work done.  We took a break in the afternoon on Sunday and were sitting on the deck enjoying the sunshine on our faces.  It was still cool out, so we were still dressed.  The breeze seemed to stop and the sun was so warm that I took off my shirt.  It still felt nice and warm in the sun despite the temperature, so next thing you know, I'm naked on a lounge chair sipping a cool drink.  I know it's going to be weeks before we get another day like that, and the following day was rainy in the 40's.  But it was so nice to get a taste, after a long cold winter, of the spring that is right around the corner and the days spent outdoors nude.

Just back

Just got back from St. Martin.  What a great trip!  The weather was beautiful as always and the people even more friendly than I remember  Spent 7 days on Orient Beach on the clothing optional end, of course.  Also spent a couple of days at Happy Bay Beach.  Happy Bay Beach is not technically clothing optional.  Only Orient is.  However, it is common for sections of beach to be nudist. Happy Bay is one of them.  It was almost more fun to be naked there just because it's technically not allowed.  There were, of course, several other nude couples and groups.  The funny part is (or annoying part, if you listen to my wife) that several boat groups show up there to snorkel and roam the beach.  As it isn't a nude beach, the suprise on their faces is priceless.  You can always tell the Americans.  They are the ones with wide eyes, whispering to each other.  Anyway, had a great time and can't wait to go back.  Here are a few pictures of the trip:
By the way, my wife is obviously shy...

Contact

So, I'm sitting here at home naked, as usual.  I'm flipping through several of the nudist blogs that I like to follow.  As I look at my own I realize that several people have stopped and looked but not left any comments.  Could I ask that if you are reading this that you at least say "hi"?  Mainly I want to know that this is working.  I realize this is a new blog, and that I'm not going to get a lot of people commenting.  Just one would be nice.  Thank you in advance.  Have a great day!

Photos

Here are a few photos of our most recent trip to St. Maarten.  These are all from Cupecoy Beach.  A beautiful beach, but due to shifting tides, the beach changes almost daily.  You never know how big the beach will be.  Fortunately we were able to reach the limestone caves at the one section.  Yes, there are tan lines...We were there that week with friends who are not nudist, therefore we were at a mostly textile beaches earlier in the week.

St. Martin

I cannot wait!  My wife and I are going to St. Martin in January for a conference.  We will be there 10 days, not all of that at the conference.  Plus, the conference is only in the mornings.  :)  We love going to St. Martin and try to get there once a year.  The great part is all of the nude beaches.  We have been to Orient Beach a number of times.  We've also been to Cupecoy Beach which is also phenomenal.  We want to try some of the lesser known nude beaches on this trip.  We are renting a car to make that easier.

The view from the beach on Tintamare Island, St. Martin
The best part of the nude beaches?  Well, if you've never been to one, you would never guess.  The people are incredibly friendly.  Kind of caught me off guard the first time I went to a nude beach.  I had never been anywhere nude in public like that.  Up until then, I had just been nude in my private back yard and pool.  What an eye opening experience.  EVERYBODY talks to everybody.  Not like on a "textile" beach where people stake out their territory and keep to themselves.  We made so many friends in just one day.  Wow!  My initial thought while walking onto the beach for the first time was that most would keep to themselves, but I quickly realized that they all had nothing to hide and, therefore, were more open about conversation as well.  I hope you get an opportunity to try it yourself soon.

So, anyway...  Does anyone have any suggestions for where I can go in St. Martin?  I'm mostly talking about nude beaches, but I would love advice on anything.  I have less experience on the French side, so I'm open to suggestions.  Thank you.

Introduction

Hello and thank you for checking out my blog.  Obviously, I'm a nudist.  Have been for a lot of years.  There are so many people out there that are nudists that are afraid to let anyone else know.  As if it was something to be ashamed of.  I've found that more people than you think enjoy nudism, but are afraid that others will think them _________ (perverts, strange, outrageous, weird).  Fill in the blank.  I'm here to tell you that most people enjoy being naked for the pure enjoyment of being naked.

I have spent time on nude beaches and have found that most people there are more friendly than anyone on a "textile" beach.  I love the ability to just be me and hide nothing.  If you feel the same way, leave a comment.

I will be blogging intermittently.  This is not my profession, but it is my lifestyle.  Any comments at all are welcome, even if you don't agree with me.  There is nothing better than a good-hearted debate.  I hope to hear from everyone.  Have a great day and, as it is December, enjoy whatever holiday you may celebrate.
